Specific Differences with Cast Iron Valves and Cast Steel Valves

The main difference between cast iron valves and cast steel valves is different carbon content, carbon content impact on strength and ductility of the steel.
Carbon content of cast steel valves is less than 0.3%, while the amount of carbon-containing in cast iron valves is at least 3%. Most of the carbon in cast iron exists in the form of graphite, and sometimes the existing form is cementite. The low carbon content in cast steel valve make the carbon that as the presence of free graphite does not form a structured sheet.
Cast steel valve is also called cast steel gate valve, it is cast into castings process gate valve with metal steel.
Compared cast steel valves with cast iron valves, cast iron valves have an absolute advantage in terms of strength.
